What do I do if I can’t log in to the Funimation App on PlayStation® (authentication failed)?

Disable your VPN if you are connected to one. You may need to do this both on the router and the system. Please contact your VPN provider for support on how to disable the service. If you are still unable to connect, please continue.
Disable your proxy if you are behind one. You may need to remove the DNS entries that you entered as part of the setup for your proxy in your router or from your internet connection settings to do this. If you are located in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, or Ireland, and are not behind a proxy, please continue.
Make sure that your router's DNS settings are set to automatically detect. If they are, then your ISP might be overloaded. Please change your router's DNS primary settings to 8.8.8.8 and secondary settings to 8.8.4.4, which is Google DNS, and then launch the Funimation App.
Confirm that your email address and password are correct. Your password is case sensitive. If you have forgotten your password, go to funimation.com and click on "Forgot your password?"
