Has the price of my Funimation subscription changed?
Beginning September 29, 2022, the price of Funimation Premium Plus in Canada has changed for both monthly and annual subscribers. These changes will be reflected in your next billing cycle starting on October 31, 2022, and charged to your current payment method on file.
Why is the price changing?
No one likes prices going up, but there are times when we just have to raise them. As you know, Funimation is transitioning to a unified subscription service with Crunchyroll. A necessary step to achieve completion of this unification is for Funimation to adjust the prices for some of our Premium plans.
When will the price change come into effect?
The price increase for new Funimation Premium plan subscribers is effective as of September 29, 2022. If you are an existing Premium Plan subscriber, these changes will be reflected in your next billing cycle (monthly or annual) starting October 31, 2022.
Do I need to take any action?
Yes, you must confirm your acceptance of the new price before your next billing date or your subscription will be canceled. Please follow the instructions in the email to do this. To avoid any increased plan charges, you may also cancel your Premium Plan at any time before the next billing cycle that falls after October 31st 2022.
Where can I see my payment details and pricing?
You can review your current Funimation plan and billing details by visiting My Account. Please note that if you are already a Funimation subscriber, you'll see these changes reflected in your next billing cycle starting on October 31, 2022.

Existing annual Premium Plan members will be notified of applicable price changes along with their annual subscription renewal notice.
