On Funimation.com (credit card or PayPal)
If you have signed up for a subscription on Funimation.com and are paying for your subscription with a credit card or PayPal, you can cancel your subscription on Funimation.com. Visit “My Account,” then click on “Subscription.” Expand the Summary section, then click on "Cancel." This will allow you to cancel your subscription.
On the Funimation iOS App (iTunes)
If you have purchased your Funimation subscription using iTunes, you may cancel by doing the following:
- On your device's home screen, tap “Settings.”
- Tap “App and iTunes Stores.”
- Tap your Apple ID.
- Tap “View Apple ID.” You might need to sign in.
- Under Subscriptions, tap “Manage.”
- Tap “Funimation.”
- Turn the green toggle next to “Automatic Renewal” to the off position. You can renew your subscription through the app at any time.
On the FunimationAndroid App
If you have purchased your Funimation subscription with Google Play Billing and your subscription has not yet ended:
- Open the Funimation app on your device
- Ensure you are logged in to your account
- Tap on the hamburger menu and select "Settings"
- Tap on "Your Plan". This will take you to your Google Play "Subscriptions" screen.
- Tap on the "Funimation" subscription
- Tap "Cancel subscription"
- Tap an option as to why you are cancelling your subscription
- Confirm you wish to cancel your subscription
You should now see an indication that this subscription will cancel, with the cancellation date indicated.
On the Funimation Apple TV App (iTunes)
If you have purchased your Funimation subscription using iTunes, you may cancel by doing the following:
- Open the Settings app.
- Select Accounts.
- Select Manage Subscriptions.
- Enter the password associated with your Apple ID.
- Choose "Funimation"
- Turn the toggle next to “Automatic Renewal” to the off position. You can renew your subscription through the app at any time.
- When asked to confirm the changes, select Confirm.
On the Funimation Roku Channel
If you have signed up through the Funimation Roku channel, then you can manage your subscription at https://my.roku.com/account.
On the Funimation Fire TV or Kindle (Amazon In-App Purchase)
If you have purchased your Funimation subscription with Amazon In-App Purchase and your subscription has not yet ended:
- Go to https://www.amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions
- Log in to the Amazon account associated with your Funimation subscription.
- Under "Your Subscriptions" click on the "Actions" button displaying next to your Funimation Susbcription renewal date.
- Click "Turn off auto-renewal".
- When asked to confirm the changes, select "Turn off-auto renewal".
On the Funimation Xbox One (Microsoft Wallet)
If you have purchased your Funimation subscription with Microsoft Wallet on Xbox One and your subscription has not yet ended:
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/
- Log in to the Microsoft Account associated with your Funimation subscription.
- Under "Services & subscriptions" click on the "Manage" button displaying next to your Funimation Subscription
- When asked to confirm the changes, click "confirm Cancellation"
On the Funimation Android TV, PS4, or Samsung (Tizen) Smart TV Apps
Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel your subscription within these apps. If you’re sure you want to say goodbye, log in to your account at Funimation.com and refer to the instructions above for Funimation.com.
