Yes, the BD remote control is fully functional with the Funimation app on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system. HDTV remotes that can pair with HDMI devices, such as ones that support Viera Link, should be able to control the Funimation App as well. However, these remotes won’t be able to navigate as easily. If your HDTV remote has a sub-menu button, try and see if you can use it to exit to other screens and navigate. Otherwise, you will either need to purchase a PlayStation® BD remote control or use the wireless controller.
